This is a stunningly beautiful Murano crystal horse head in clear and grey glass. Although unmarked it is in the style of Ermanno Nason for Nason & Moretti. The grey glass is at the centre of the bust, with the clear glass cased around it. As can be seen from the photographs the workmanship and styling is exuisite and of the highest quality.
It is a relatively large and heavy piece at 18cm high x 12cm wide x 5cm deep.
The figurine is in very good vintage original condition with no chips, cracks, marks or repairs. There is very light wear to the base. As with all hand-worked glass there are a small number of small inclusions and bubbles in the glass itself, left during the manufacturing process.
