This is a very large vintage example of the West German Pottery Fat Lava style in the form of a handled floor vase designed by Friedgard Glatzle and produced by Karlsruhe Majolika in the 1960s. At 60cm tall this piece will make a statement in any setting.

The vase has a striking dark and light blue drip glaze that is very typical of Glatzle's work. It is marked with the Karlsruhe stamp and the pattern no. of 7193 on the base.

The item is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, marks or repairs.
