Vintage 1970s Double Spot Gold and Black Floor Lamp by Ronald Holmes for Conelight

£330.00
This is a suberb piece of iconic 1970s lighting with a stunning polished gold and black finish. Designed by Ronald Holmes for UK company Conelight Ltd the lamp just oozes all that is good about mid century modern design.

Two spotlights sit on an extendable central arm. Each light is adjustable in height, direction and angle. The extending mechanism for the adjustable arm is controlled by loosening a simple screw in the main body of the lamp and then sliding the adjustable arm up and down. Each light can then be further adjusted by hand. The lamp has two separate on/off switches for maximum flexibility.

The spotlights have a polished gold finish as does the main part of the lamp - this is complemented by a black panel and black switching and flex. A new plug has been fitted and the unit has been electrical safety tested (PAT tested).

When the adjustable mechanism is fully extended the top spotlight is 147cm from the floor. When the extending mechanism is fully retracted the top spotlight is 96cm from the floor.

The condition of the lamp is very good. It is in full working order and the extending mechanism operates smoothly, as does the adjustment mechanism for each of the individual lights. There are some minor marks, dents and colour variations throughout commensurate with the age of the item, but none that are significant or that detract from the overall look and feel of this lovely piece.

Delivery within the UK is at a fixed price of £20
